Chris Jennings is a Managing Director and Senior Trader. He brings 13 years of trading experience to RenMac covering mutual funds, asset managers and pension funds, as well as Hedge Funds specializing in macro and sector strategies. Chris received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He now lives in CT with his wife Shanna.
Jillian Tarlowe is a Director on RenMac’s Technical Research team. Prior to joining, she spent six years as a Research Associate in Technical Analysis at Cornerstone Macro. Jillian received her PhD in Neuroscience from Rutgers, where her dissertation focused on developing algorithms to objectively analyze complex human behaviors. While at Rutgers, she was awarded the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and the National Institutes of Health Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award. In 2008, Jillian graduated cum laude from NJIT with a BS in Biomedical Engineering. She lives in NJ with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
Simon joined RenMac in June 2022 as Managing Director and Head of EMEA /Asia Research Sales. He has over 20 years success in Institutional Research Sales for several Wall Street houses. Previous firms include Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse First Boston, William Blair, Schroder Wertheim, Susquehannah Intl., Macquarie, and Vertical Research. In 2015 Simon graduated with a Master of Finance (MFin) Postgraduate Degree from the University of Cambridge. He received his BSc (Jt. Hons) in Management Science with Marketing from the University of Stirling, Scotland including dissertation research at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Massachusetts and with NTSB, FAA & NASA in Washington DC. At the University of Stirling, he was Captain of the Golf Team, three-time winners of both Scottish and British Universities Championships. Simon was formerly National Tournament Director for the Professional Golfers’ Association, and Rules Official for both the PGA European Tour and the 28th Ryder Cup Matches.
Hugh joined Renaissance Macro in 2022 as Managing Director and Head of West Coast Sales. He has almost 20 years industry experience and leads the development and implementation of growth and sales strategy across the U.S. and Asia Pacific regions. After receiving his MBA from Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business, Hugh spent the initial part of his career in New York, before moving to San Francisco to raise a family and focus on his west coast client relationships. Hugh currently resides in Newport Beach, CA and enjoys any activity that includes the Pacific Ocean. He recently completed a 30+ mile paddle from Catalina to Newport Beach to raise funds for the Ben Carlson Foundation and likes to surf whenever he can.
Before Kevin Dempter joined the technical research team at RenMac, he spent six years as a proprietary trader at T3 Trading Group where he developed his skills in trading and technical analysis. Kevin is a native of Doylestown, Pennsylvania and has a B.S. in Finance from Shippensburg University. He lives with his wife Nicole in Dallas.
Rafael Sanhueza is a member of RenMac’s technical team where he performs quantitative research and analysis. Previously, he was a quantitative research intern at Maritime Capital LLC, a New York municipal fixed income hedge fund. He graduated from Columbia University’s Masters of Mathematics of Finance program in 2016. Before this program, he was a structural engineer for 6 years in Santiago, Chile, where he is originally from. He graduated at the top of his class from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile in Civil Engineering in 2008.
